Most supplement stores stock anything that sells. DopeFree Supps doesn't. We're a curated online store — and the brands on our shelf earned that spot by clearing a four-step review that most don't survive.
The Protocol
Four checkpoints. No shortcuts.
We're a retailer, not a lab — so our job is to be ruthless about who we let onto our shelf. Marketing claims don't move us. Verifiable third-party paperwork does. Every brand walks the same path, in the same order.
The Label Audit
If a brand hides individual dosages behind "Proprietary Blends" or "Matrix Formulations," they're out before we go any further. We require every active disclosed down to the milligram — patented ingredient complexes like AstraGin or Senactiv are welcome, hidden dosing isn't.
The Dose Audit
Disclosure isn't enough — the actives have to be present at doses that actually work. We benchmark every formulation against published research. 500mg of creatine "for the formula," trace caffeine in a pre-workout, or sub-clinical Vitamin D doesn't make our shelf. If the dose isn't backed by science, it's marketing.
The Certification Check
We require an active, batch-level certification from Informed Sport (LGC) or NSF Certified for Sport — the two gold-standard programs in the world. We confirm the brand's standing in those programs before we stock, and we re-confirm regularly.
Sourcing Lockdown
A certified product is useless if it spoiled in transit. We only source through the brand directly or their single authorized national distributor — so the tub on our shelf left the manufacturer in temperature-controlled freight, not someone's checked luggage.

Amino Spiking
Brands padding nitrogen-based protein tests with cheap free-form aminos like taurine and glycine — making an 18g protein yield look like 24g on paper while delivering a fraction of usable, complete protein. Easy to spot. Easy to refuse.
Rejected at Step 01Heavy Metal Contamination
Cheaply sourced botanicals, plant proteins, and cocoa-based products routinely carry lead, arsenic, and mercury above safe daily intake. Brands with active third-party batch certification have already screened for it — that's exactly why we require it.
Rejected at Step 03The "Parallel Import" Trap
Grey-market tubs smuggled in luggage, sitting in 40°C heat for weeks, then resold as authentic. The seal looks intact — the actives are already degraded by the time the box arrives. We don't source from anyone but the direct brand or their authorized distributor.
Rejected at Step 04Why the certifications matter
Tested down to the part-per-billion.
We don't run lab tests ourselves — and we'd be skeptical of any retailer who claimed to. What we do is insist on the highest existing standard already exists in the world, then only stock brands who hold it.
Programs like Informed Sport and NSF Certified for Sport run their analysis inside the same anti-doping laboratories that test elite athletes for Olympic federations. They use mass spectrometry to screen for 250+ banned substances at parts-per-billion sensitivity.
The scale: if a single drop of a banned compound were diluted into an Olympic-sized swimming pool, they'd still find it. That's the bar a brand has to clear before we'll agree to put their product on our shelf.
